If you’re actively trying to avoid foods that won’t damage your braces or give you problems (we hope you are), barbecues and 4th of July parties might become discouraging. They’re often full of sticky treats, corn on the cob, patriotic-colored popcorn, and other treats not good for braces. You could pick out the few things on the menu that are braces-friendly, or you could try one (or all) of these patriotic recipes for people with braces and celebrate.
Strawberry Shortcake Kabobs
Strawberries? Shortcake? In kabob form? Yes, please. Other than the sugar, which we don’t promote as much with braces, this is a hassle-free, easy-to-make recipe that won’t give you too much trouble with the braces.
